Alice Benton has 20 years’ NHS commissioning experience and detailed knowledge of health contracting, commissioning, policy and strategy. Her work in an East of England CCG focused on supporting GP transformation, preparing primary care for new ways of working and broader system integration. 

 

She led the London-wide NHSE dental, optometry and pharmacy team, including urgent care with an annual budget of almost £1bn. She led general practice commissioning in both South West and East London. Alice has gathered detailed commissioning, service redesign, and change management skills and is passionate about assuring the resilience of primary care.
